We have advocated alongside a few other campaigns and non-profits! We have professional experience working with youth and adults, in prevention, health, awareness and more! Below are just some of the many accomplishments that we have achieved and plan on incorporating into our services for our community. Learn To Grow INC.

Learn to Grow Inc. is where it all began. We started with this alcohol and tobacco prevention program in 2009 and the journey with Learn to Grow is still thriving! With this organization we have grown many communities. We have helped pass an ordinance, created a cessation program, spoke at community and town hall meetings on the behalf of low economic status communities and traveled from state to state speaking for the city of Atlanta to continuously bring programs in the community to help our youth.  We don't only do well in prevention, but in giving too. We have done many turkey drives and like to give out incentives to help with the health and home cleanliness and more!

Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids was an organization that we advocated and rallied for in different states. This campaign was also a health and prevention initiative. For more information on this campaign click the picture above.

 Capital Hill Day

We have spent many days, year after year, going to Capital Hill in Washington D.C. speaking with the House of Representatives and Senates about the various community issues that target low economic status communities within the state of Georgia.

We visited Capital Hill so often that former Congressman John Lewis decided to reward us by placing a photo of us and himself on the mantel in the office that, once, was known as his!

We have advocated on the behalf of truth initiative over the years as a youth and an adult during their fellowship corps. We have helped other young adults, traveling state to state, to grow better and healthier doing prevention! For more information on The Truth Initiative click "truth".

Advocating on the behalf of Truth Initiative

The Founder, Deshanda Smarr, was one of the First youngest, at the age of 20, people in the state of Georgia to drive for her county's schools transportation. As one of numerous young drivers, now, she inspires many young adults between the ages of 8-21 to be their best authentic selves. She has helped foster children with mental, spiritual and physical PTSD and continue to keep the students in her schools and on the buses encouraged!
