Meet The Steward Of Within The Mix Inc.!

De'Shanda Smarr is the chosen steward of Within The Mix Incorporation, as God is the founder and CEO. She grew up in the capital of Georgia and graduated in the top 5 of her class in 2015 from Carver High School. She was raised in a community with a low economic status, however, was exposed to many different cultures, race, backgrounds and ethnicities. She was also exposed to higher class professionals, such as, Congressman John Lewis, Senators on Capital Hill, Truth, Surgeon Generals and spoke for many radio stations and newspapers. This was her life as a youth, but her life took a turn for the worse once she was set free from her mothers nest of 4 baby birds. Although she was exposed to greatness, she also suffered silently being bullied, set apart, disliked by many, gossiped about, molested, abandoned, frowned upon, counted out and the quietness caused a great trauma for her as an adult. The things that she went  through privately caused PTSD, insecurities, depression, self-doubt, lack of love, addictions, idolatry and killed her faith and belief in a higher power. The enemy sent death threats over her life, but Jesus saved her life. That higher power, Christ, stayed with her and before she knew it, a journey that was beyond her imagination began to bloom. She started this non-profit incorporation because she has a testimonial of her own that she kept hidden from so many for so long, but who knew what was hidden would become a hidden gem. In the process of healing from it all, God placed on her heart an idea and gave her vision, he chose her to water a seed that was planted. The non-profit went from an idea, a vision, to a reality, so that women like herself would have an entire road map for a healing process and journey to re-identify from her experience of trauma. So, now we present to you a harvest of blossomed flowers, Within The Mix Incorporation.
